Rewiring & Wiring Repairs
Safe wiring behind the walls, without tearing up your home.
Cloth-covered wiring, ungrounded circuits and aluminum branch wiring are common in homes built before the 1980s, and they are behind a large share of residential electrical fires. Rewiring fixes the cause instead of patching symptoms.
We plan the job room by room, use existing chases and attic or crawlspace access wherever possible, and patch only where we must. You get grounded outlets, proper circuits for kitchens and baths, and wiring that passes inspection.

Common questions
Do you have to open all the walls?
No. We route new cable through attics, crawlspaces and existing wall cavities and open drywall only where there is no other path. Any openings are kept small and documented for your drywall repair.
Can I stay in the house during rewiring?
Usually yes. We work in stages so most of the house has power at the end of each day.
Is aluminum wiring dangerous?
Aluminum branch wiring from the 1960s and 70s can loosen at connections and overheat. It can be made safe with approved connectors or replaced, depending on the home.
